Born To Sing Choir Melville
MELVILLE: Tuesdays: 11.00-1.00pm. Guide’s Hall, off Collier Road, Applecross. Approx. 50 singers.
Martin Meader is the musical director of the Born to Sing Choirs in Guildford, Joondalup, Melville and Rockingham in Western Australia. The choirs welcome all non-singers, shower singers, park singers, car singers, air guitar singers and actual singers. If you do not read music, we supply MP3s guide tracks for easy learning. The choirs do not have any religious affiliations but sing songs from the heart that engender goodwill, raise self-esteem and help you lose the blues.
The repertoire in 2018 will continue with songs like Dancing Queen, Dream A Little Dream, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, Chapel of Love, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah but will also focus on songs from the American Songbook such as I Left My Heart In San Francisco, Making Whoopee, All Of Me, Hey Big Spender, Blue Moon, Summertime, Mac The Knife, Night & Day, New York, New York, Tuxedo Junction, Hello Dolly, Chatanooga Choo Choo, Georgia and Fly Me To The Moon.
The cost is $18.00 per session ($10.00 for children) and includes music, good company and a cuppa. Or you can pay fortnightly or monthly by direct debit or cash and receive a healthy discount.
